We saw a number of Fidel Castro graffiti along the way, especially from Bayamo to Santiago. Fidel Castro had just died prior to our arrival to Cuba. So as a memorial, there was a week long funeral procession from Havana to Santiago as a kind of reverse commemoration of Fidel's march from Santiago to Havana after the revolution was won.
