On our way to Bayamo

The distance between Trinidad and Bayamo is more than half the distance of the country. That meant we would be in the car for about 12 hours. Yet our guide seemed to have forgotten that Keith and I were on a mission to eat our way through Cuba. By looking at the two of us, we NEVER miss a meal. However, Yoani seem to have other ideas without telling us. In fact, even after she was getting herself an ice-cream here, she never told us we might want to pick up something to eat. In the picture, I was in the background ordering an espresso. After finding out she had no intention of stopping in Camaguey for lunch, I was pissed off with her and she knew it. I think the fact we made a unilateral decision that didn't take our needs into consideration was the issue. She was taking care of her own needs as she had family in Bayamo she wanted to see.  From there on out, I made sure we communicated about everything and decided together what we did.
