Named after the mountains of the Sierra Maestra, 900 km away near Santiago de Cuba. These are the same mountains Fidel survived for two years before moving on to finishing the revolution. Cuba's inspirational patron leader, Jose Marti, said that whoever controls these mountains, controls Cuba.
